About us

Since founded in 2004, SAHC has grown to reach over 2000 youths in junior high, high school, junior college and local community churches youth.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes “God’s Game Plan” Bible, is our spiritually free gift of life to win another life, a son or a daughter off our streets for the Gospel of Jesus Christ…

Ministry: To ministry to American Samoa and neighbor Asian Pacific Islands athletes. Samoan Athletes Heart of Champions (SAHC) is a sports ministry established in 2002, and founded in 2004 targeting students, athletes and coaches at junior high through professional levels. SAHC uses the platform of athletics, with athletes and coaches as role models to reach a world that is influenced by sports. SAHC presents the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the Samoan Wisdom (fa’autaga ma le tofa mamao); Family (aiga) ministry, Community (lalafaga) ministry, and Churches (faifeau ma ta’ita’i) ministry.

Mission: To present to all Samoan Athletes, Coaches, Family, Community, Churches and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him their relationship and in the fellowship of the Church.

Vision: We are the Light of the world…let your Light shine before men…shine out to all Athletes Nation; Community Leaders, Churches Youths to equip with the Word of God. Keep His Word as a Champion Torch Light lid not to be hidden, but to pass on as a brighter beacon as a witness "unto all men of what you have seen and heard" about His Way, the Truth and Life…

Goal: To identify, equip, train and encourage; Leaders, Coaches, and Teachers as role model and through their influence they can give young people the support they need to make the right decisions in life…get involved with the needs of others. "What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you."(Ephesians 6:8 and 1 John 3:17)

HIGHLIGHTS:
2004        Reaching 100-200 athletes and local youths, 5 local community churches fellowship…
2005        Reaching 200-500 athletes, North County and San Diego local youths, 7 local community churches fellowship and partnership...
2006        Achievements…reached more than 1000 for Jesus…
·        Launch FCA/SAHC ministry to American Samoa High School(s) in June-July, and built new leaders and relationship…
·        Invited as a Guest Speaker for the Am. Samoa Bowl IV dinner in Dec-Jan 07…
·        Donated more than 1000 materials, including God’s game plan Bible, devotional for Athletes and Coaches, 3- sets of football uniforms…
2007 - 2008
·        ASFCA Combine Football Camp reach out Samoan HS, more than 300 athletes Worship and Fellowship. Coaches leadership training 
·        Coaches as to growth in spiritual and trust, as builder for our future young Samoan Athletes Heart of Champions…
